This Privacy Policy explains how SKL PRO TRAVEL S.R.L. (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you use skiptheline.ro and the booking services operated under the brand Skip The Tickets Line, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use our website, we may process:

• Contact and identity data — name, email, phone; participant names; nationality and identity document number when required for a visit;
• Booking data — reserved experiences, dates, guest numbers, preferences or notes you provide, payment status, and voucher details;
• Account data — email used for secure magic-link sign-in and related session cookies;
• Payment data — amounts, currency, and payment confirmation references (card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us in full);
• Communications — messages sent via our contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp;
• Technical data — IP address (security and rate limiting), essential cookies, and, only with your consent, analytics data.

3. Why we process data

• To manage reservations, payments, vouchers, and customer support — contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• To meet venue access or legal / accounting requirements — legal obligation or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(c)/(f));
• To secure the website (including reCAPTCHA and abuse prevention) — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f));
• For optional analytics (Google Analytics) — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Who receives data

We do not sell personal data. Recipients may include:

• Supabase, Inc. — database, authentication, and file storage (privacy policy);
• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and delivery (privacy policy);
• Google LLC — reCAPTCHA and, with consent, Google Analytics (privacy policy);
• Our SMTP / email provider — transactional emails (confirmations, quotations, vouchers);
• Payment provider (Banca Transilvania or another configured acquirer) — online payments;
• WhatsApp / Meta — only if you contact us there;
• Venues, guides, and authorised staff — as needed to deliver your visit;
• Authorities or advisers — where required by law or to protect our rights.

Some providers may process data outside the EEA (including the United States). In those cases we rely on appropriate GDPR safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Essential cookies keep the site and secure sessions working. Analytics cookies load only if you accept them. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the reservation, customer support, and legal or accounting duties (financial records may be retained for up to the periods required by Romanian law). Identity document numbers collected for venue access are kept only as long as necessary for that purpose, then deleted or anonymised where feasible.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and withdraw analytics consent at any time, by emailing hello@skiptheline.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro) or your local EU supervisory authority.

8. Security and children

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, access controls, secure tokens, processor safeguards). Our services are aimed at adults arranging visits; minors may appear as participants when booked by a parent or guardian.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
